Overview:
The Ashcroft® APA and APS explosion proof miniature pressure switches are designed for pressure control for applications in harsh or hazardous locations. The explosion-proof construction provides superior protection, while its compact design allows for easy integration into custom equipment or systems. Ideal for pressure alarm, shutdown or process control within hazardous areas when limited size and compatibility are required. This model operates as single setpoint, fixed deadband, factory set, field adjustable and features a general purpose single switch, SPDT micro switch, 15 PSI setpoint, and rising pressure (decreasing vacuum) setpoint direction. The unit is housed with an explosion proof 316 stainless steel enclosure, 1/2 NPT male conduit with 18 AWG wires electrical connection, 12" wire lead length, 316 stainless steel welded diaphragm actuator seal, and 1/4" male fixed (compatible with VCR fittings) process connection. The unit covers a 200 PSI pressure range.
