Overview:
The Ashcroft® APA and APS explosion proof miniature pressure switches are designed for pressure control for applications in harsh or hazardous locations. The explosion-proof construction provides superior protection, while its compact design allows for easy integration into custom equipment or systems. Ideal for pressure alarm, shutdown or process control within hazardous areas when limited size and compatibility are required. This switch is configured for single setpoint, fixed deadband, factory set, not field adjustable operation, with a general purpose single switch, SPDT micro switch, 100 PSI setpoint, and rising pressure (decreasing vacuum) setpoint direction. It is built with an explosion proof 316 stainless steel enclosure, 1/2 NPT male conduit with 18 AWG wires electrical connection, 12" wire lead length, 316 stainless steel piston & Buna-N o-ring actuator seal, and 1/4" NPT female process connection. Sensing supports a 1,000 PSI pressure range.
