The Ashcroft® APA and APS explosion proof miniature pressure switches are designed for pressure control for applications in harsh or hazardous locations. The explosion-proof construction provides superior protection, while its compact design allows for easy integration into custom equipment or systems. Ideal for pressure alarm, shutdown or process control within hazardous areas when limited size and compatibility are required. Set up for single setpoint, fixed deadband, factory set, not field adjustable operation, the unit includes a general purpose single switch, SPDT micro switch, 80 PSI setpoint, and rising pressure (decreasing vacuum) setpoint direction. Construction includes an explosion proof 316 stainless steel enclosure, 1/2 NPT male conduit with 18 AWG wires electrical connection, 12" wire lead length, 316 stainless steel welded diaphragm actuator seal, and 1/8" NPT male process connection. It is rated for a 200 PSI pressure range. Additional options on this model include traceable calibration chart and stainless steel tag.
