Overview:
The Ashcroft® PT NEMA 9 explosion proof temperature switch is designed for use in harsh applications where hazardous approvals and uncompromising safety is required. The PT switch proven technology provides a stable, long-lasting product that can be used over a wide range of temperatures. It is field proven for extreme reliability and is ideal for pressure control, shutdown or alarm operations in hazardous locations. This switch is configured for temperature control, two independently adjustable setpoints, fixed deadband operation, with a narrow deadband switch element. It is built with an explosion proof epoxy coated aluminum enclosure. Sensing supports a remote mount, 5' capillary thermal system, 3" bulb length, and 65/125 °C temperature range. Additional options include 1/2" male NPT bushing, factory adjusted setpoints, and 2" pipe mounting bracket.
