The Wahl DHS115XEL non-contact thermometer has a 12:1 distance to spot ratio and is best for use at short range, allowing the user to measure temperatures up to 999°F from a safe distance. The model includes all the features of the DHS115XL, including laser assist with aiming, with additional features, including: Hi and Low Audible alarm, >Max / Min / Average / ΔT calculations, Adjustable emissivity, Ten points of memory, Electronic trigger lock for continuous reading. To measure a temperature, point the unit at the target, pull the trigger and hold to uses the "scan" mode, in which the unit will display the current temperature on the LCD.
