Overview:
The DHS85XL is the smallest and most affordable hand held infrared thermometer in our Heat Spy line. This unit is lightweight and comfortable to hold, powered by one 9v alkaline battery. The 8:1 distance to spot ratio makes this unit ideal for close range measurements. The DHS85XL measures temperatures up to 619°F (326°C). Built in laser sight assists with aiming. To measure a temperature, simply point at the object, using the laser sight to help with aiming. Pull the trigger and read the temperature displayed on the four digit backlit LCD screen. With the trigger depressed, the unit will actively read the target temperature in scan mode.
