Overview:
This is a Sharpe Series 50 two-piece, full-port flanged ball valve for industrial process lines. The body and end cap are ASTM A351 CF8M (316 stainless steel), and the ball and stem are 316 stainless steel too. The ends are raised-face Class 150 flanges to ASME B16.5, with face-to-face dimensions to ASME B16.10. The design meets ASME B16.34 and NACE MR0175. The stem is blowout-proof, with an internal-entry design and a heavy shoulder. Anti-static devices ground the ball to the stem and the stem to the body. An integral ISO 5211 mounting pad lets you add an actuator later in the field. It ships with a lockable ductile iron pipe handle, so you can lock the valve open or closed.
