The Toshiba EQP Global® Cooling Tower Motor is engineered to deliver exceptional performance and reliability in the demanding environments of cooling tower applications. Designed to operate efficiently in conditions of 100% humidity, this motor series is ideal for industries such as HVAC, power generation, chemical processing, and pulp and paper.
Features:
- Severe Duty Construction: Built with a cast iron frame, bearing brackets, and conduit box, the motor is coated with a corrosion-resistant severe duty epoxy paint system, ensuring durability in wet and humid environments.
- IP56 Ingress Protection: Equipped with umbrella and V-ring seals on both drive-end and opposite drive-end shafts, along with gasket sealant between the frame and bearing brackets, providing robust protection against moisture and contaminants.
- Versatile Mounting Options: Designed with multiple drain provisions and mounting capabilities for both horizontal and vertical installations, accommodating various cooling tower configurations.
- Inverter Duty Rated: Suitable for use with adjustable speed drives, offering a speed range of up to 60:1 variable torque and 10:1 constant torque, enhancing energy efficiency and operational flexibility.
- NEMA Premium® Efficiency: Meets or exceeds NEMA Premium® efficiency standards, contributing to reduced energy consumption and operational costs.
- Class F Insulation System: Utilizes Class F insulation with Class H varnish and magnet wire, providing a wide thermal margin and extended motor life.
- Low Vibration Levels: Achieves vibration levels typically at 0.08 inches/second or less, exceeding NEMA MG1 requirements, which prolongs motor and bearing life.
