Overview:

​The Toshiba Medium Voltage Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) Fin-Type Motor is engineered for high-performance applications in demanding industrial environments. Its robust construction and advanced features make it ideal for industries such as oil and gas, mining, pulp and paper, and water and wastewater treatment.

Features:

  • Horsepower Range: 200 to 750 HP
  • Voltage Options: 2300 V, 4000 V, or dual 2300/4000 V
  • Speed Options: 900, 1200, or 1800 RPM
  • Enclosure: Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) with fin-type cast iron frame
  • Frame Sizes: S586/587 and B587/588/589/5810
  • Ingress Protection: IP54 standard; IP55 optional
  • Insulation System: Class F inverter duty, meeting NEMA MG1 Part 31 requirements
  • Service Factor: 1.15 on sine wave power (except for 750 HP, which has 1.00 SF); 1.0 on VFD
  • Mounting Options: Horizontal foot mounting with multi-mount capability for drop-in replacement
  • Bearings: Anti-friction ball bearings with labyrinth seals; roller bearing option available
  • Thermal Protection: Stator RTDs (two per phase) and provisions for bearing RTDs
  • Additional Features: Space heaters, provisions for vibration sensors, and tropicalized windings
