Overview:
The Watson McDaniel IB1032-14-N-200 is a cast iron inverted bucket steam trap with a 1.0" NPT connection, stainless steel internals, and a max working pressure of 200 PSI. The IB inverted bucket steam traps were specifically designed for removing condensate from steam mains & steam supply lines. Inverted bucket traps can also be used on unit heaters, laundry equipment, and other less critical process applications where slow start-up due to poor air handling characteristics can be tolerated. These traps can handle superheated steam when a check valve is used on the inlet side, which prevents the trap from losing prime.
