Overview:
The Watson McDaniel SIB-12-SW-450 is a stainless steel inverted bucket steam trap with a 1/2" socket weld connection, stainless steel internals, and a max working pressure of 450 PSI. The IB inverted bucket steam traps were specifically designed for removing condensate from steam mains & steam supply lines. Inverted bucket traps can also be used on unit heaters, laundry equipment, and other less critical process applications where slow start-up due to poor air handling characteristics can be tolerated. These traps can handle superheated steam when a check valve is used on the inlet side, which prevents the trap from losing prime.
