Vacuum Ejectors - Schmalz
Vacuum ejectors use a motive fluid such as steam, air or water to create vacuum through the venturi effect. With no moving parts, they're extremely reliable for evacuating vessels, distilling, drying and degassing.
Ejector Types
- Steam jet ejectors – deep vacuum in multi-stage systems
- Air-operated ejectors – compact vacuum from compressed air
- Liquid jet ejectors – water or process fluid as motive
- Multi-stage systems – with condensers for high vacuum
Why Use Ejectors
Ejectors handle corrosive gases, condensable vapors and dirty streams that would damage mechanical pumps. They're simple to install and maintain. Sizing depends on suction load, required vacuum, motive pressure and discharge conditions.
