Gauges
We offer pressure gauges, vital instruments that measure and indicate fluid or gas pressure within a system. These gauges are commonly employed in various industries, including manufacturing, oil and gas, automotiv...
Boiler gauges give operators a clear, at-a-glance view of the pressure, temperature and water level in a steam or hot water boiler. Accurate readings are essential for safe operation and are often required by code and insurance inspectors.
Boiler Gauge Types
- Steam pressure gauges – with ranges and dials suited to low and high pressure boilers
- Altitude and pressure gauges – for hot water heating systems
- Tridicators – pressure, temperature and altitude combined on one dial
- Water level gauges and gauge glasses – visual confirmation of water level
- Siphons and gauge cocks – protect gauges from live steam and allow safe removal
Installation Tips
Always install a siphon between a steam gauge and the boiler so condensate, not steam, reaches the gauge. Choose a dial range where the normal operating pressure sits in the middle third of the scale. Replace gauges that won't return to zero or show a cracked or fogged lens.
Centro carries boiler gauges, siphons and gauge glasses to keep your boiler room safe and compliant.

Pressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of fluids or gases in various industrial, commercial, and residential applications. They visually indicate the pressure levels, allowing operators to monitor and control processes effectively. Pressure gauges consist of a dial or digital display with a needle or numeric readout representing the pressure measurement in units such as PSI (pounds per square inch) or kPa (kilopascals). They typically feature a Bourdon tube, diaphragm, or other sensing elements that convert the applied pressure into a mechanical displacement, which is then displayed on the gauge. Pressure gauges are available in different types, including analog and digital, with varying accuracy levels and pressure ranges to suit specific application requirements. They are commonly used in oil and gas, manufacturing, HVAC, and automotive industries, where pressure monitoring is critical for operational safety, system performance, and quality control. Pressure gauges provide valuable feedback for adjusting process parameters, detecting leaks or anomalies, and ensuring the optimal functioning of equipment and systems.

Tridicators combine pressure (or altitude) and temperature readings in one gauge. They're standard on hot water boilers and hydronic heating systems.
Features
- Dual readings – pressure and temperature
- Altitude scale – feet of water for hydronic systems
- Brass construction – water service
- Standard connections – boiler tappings
Choosing a Tridicator
Select pressure and temperature ranges for the system, plus stem length and connection size. Replace gauges that read inaccurately.
Centro supplies tridicators for boilers and hydronic systems.

Manometers measure pressure and differential pressure by balancing it against a column of liquid, or with a digital sensor. They're the go-to tool for low-pressure measurement in HVAC, cleanrooms, combustion setup, gas lines and filter monitoring.
Manometer Types
- U-tube manometers – simple, accurate and no power required
- Inclined manometers – higher resolution for very low pressures
- Digital manometers – handheld instruments with data logging
- Differential pressure manometers – filter and duct monitoring
Choosing a Manometer
Select the range and units (inches of water column, Pa or mbar) for your application. Handheld digital models are convenient for technicians, while fixed liquid manometers provide continuous visual indication. Use the correct gauge fluid and keep the instrument level for accurate readings.
Centro offers manometers for HVAC, combustion and low-pressure process measurement.
