Overview:
The HammerTek Smart Elbow® Series is a patented line of conveying elbows engineered to eliminate product degradation, prevent plugging, and reduce premature wear in pneumatic and slurry conveying systems. Unlike conventional sweep elbows, the Smart Elbow® features a deflection chamber that redirects material using a spherical mass of conveyed product, rather than allowing direct impact with the elbow wall. This design reduces turbulence, minimizes particle breakdown, and virtually eliminates elbow wear even with abrasive materials. Available in a variety of materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and hard ductile iron, Smart Elbows are ideal for applications handling dry bulk solids, slurries, or other flowable materials. These elbows are designed for easy retrofit into existing piping systems, making them a cost-effective solution for improving system longevity and efficiency without costly layout changes.Features:
