The KOBOLD KSK plastic flowmeter and switch delivers reliable flow measurement for liquids and gases in a corrosion-resistant package featuring polyamide or polysulfone construction that stands up to aggressive acids and alkaline solutions typically unsuitable for metal units. Operating on the variable-area principle with a PVDF float traveling within a clear conical measuring tube, this versatile instrument provides ±4% full scale accuracy across a wide measurement range from 0.006 GPM to 4.4 GPM for liquids or from 0.06 SCFM to 62 SCFM for air (with polysulfone models offering specialized calibration scales for pressures from 0 to 145 PSIG). The compact design can be equipped with either bistable reed contacts (N/O or N/C) or NPN transistor switches featuring LED status indication, providing reliable flow monitoring and alarm capabilities for critical process protection applications. With a maximum pressure rating of 145 PSIG and temperature capabilities up to 212°F (for polysulfone versions with brass or stainless steel fittings), these shock-proof instruments offer exceptional chemical compatibility while maintaining visual indication through their clear measuring tubes. Versatile connection options including PVC glue socket/NPT female fittings or brass/stainless steel NPT adapters in various sizes make the KSK series adaptable to numerous industrial applications requiring chemical resistance combined with accurate flow measurement and control.Features:
