Overview:
The Schunk 324160 is an HKI gripper pad, Size 1, measuring 300 mm in length. These robot gripper pads are made of soft plastic for surface-friendly gripping of workpieces while increasing the frictional forces at the contact surface between the gripper finger and the workpiece. With a high friction coefficient of approximately 0.3–0.4, the HKI pads let grippers hold heavier workpieces at the same gripping force, improving grip security while protecting delicate parts from marking or damage. Supplied as a sheet product that can be cut and fitted to the gripper jaws, the genuine Schunk HKI 324160 gripper pad is used to enhance the performance of pneumatic and electric grippers in automated handling, assembly, machine-tending, and pick-and-place applications.
