Overview:
The Micronics PF222 is a Portable Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Meter engineered for accurate, non-invasive measurement of liquid flow within closed pipes. Using advanced cross correlation and transit-time ultrasonic technology, the PF222 provides precise and repeatable readings without requiring pipe modification or flow interruption. The Clamp On sensors attach externally, making installation simple and eliminating contamination or shutdown risks.
Compact and rugged, the PF222 Portable Ultrasonic Flowmeter is built for consistent performance in demanding industrial environments. It features a clear 64 x 240 pixel graphic display, intuitive 16-key control panel, and multilingual interface. Powered by a rechargeable NiMH battery offering up to 14 hours of operation, the PF222 can also run while charging via mains power. Housed in a durable polypropylene carrying case with foam inserts, it ensures protection and portability for reliable use in the field.
The PF222 uses Clamp On transducers suitable for a wide range of pipe materials and diameters, making it ideal for clean liquids such as water, glycol mixtures, oils, and chemicals. It provides dependable results for both spot checks and continuous flow monitoring in process, manufacturing, and utility applications.

- Three optically isolated pulse or frequency outputs for totals, alarms, or loss of signal
- Pulse repetition up to 50 pulses per second or frequency mode up to 200 Hz
- Rechargeable NiMH battery with approximately 14 hours of use and 2.5-hour charge time
- Power supply 110–240 VAC ±10% via included PSU
- Displays flow, total, signal strength, time, and battery status
- Sensor and cable rated IP54 with optional IP68 upgrade for harsh conditions
- Operating temperature range for transducers: –20°C to +135°C
