Vents
Bin vent filters capture dust displaced from silos, bins and hoppers during filling, letting clean air escape while keeping product in.
Vent Options
- Cartridge bin vents – compact and high efficiency
- Bag bin vents – larger airflows
- Pulse-jet cleaning – automatic filter cleaning
- Passive vents – simple filtration for low airflows
- Weatherproof housings – outdoor silo tops
Sizing a Bin Vent
Size the vent by fill rate and conveying air volume, especially for pneumatic truck unloading. Undersized vents can over-pressurize silos. Pair with pressure relief valves for safety.
