Overview:
Nordfab Quick-Fit® Y Branches (sometimes called “true wyes”) are standard with QF rolled ends, allowing quick connections with other QF ductwork. These Y shape branches are also available with a 90º angle between the legs. 14 gauge material construction adds extra durability and the solid welded seams eliminate leakage. Elimination of air leakage makes a dust collection system more efficient, providing savings on energy costs. Contact Nordfab or your local Nordfab dealer for assistance with branch configurations not shown below, larger sizes, and material / gauge options. Quick-Fit has been used in a wide variety of applications, wherever dust collection or fine particulate transfer is required. Quick-Fit saves time and money on installation, is easy to clean out, is adaptable to existing ductwork, and is easily re-used during shop floor reconfigurations. - Both B & C each must be at least 50% of A, with B or C being at least 80% of the opposite leg.
- Available with 90° angle
- When ordering, specify galvanized steel material, 14 gauge (if nonstandard), dimensions A, B, C, end styles, and angle (60° shown below, 90° also available).
- Use the following formula to determine length: L = A + 4"
- Available with flanged ends in diameters up to 72", and other various end types
- Other gauges available include standard 22 and 20 18, 16, 12 and 10
