Compressed Air

Compressed air filtration is a critical component of air compression systems, designed to remove impurities and contaminants from compressed air. These filtration systems consist of various elements, including coalescing filters and particulate filters, to ensure that the compressed air is clean, dry, and free from pollutants. They find application in industries like manufacturing, automotive, and pharmaceuticals, where the quality of compressed air plays a crucial role in equipment performance and product quality.

Also known as GasDry Peak SP is a leading deliquescent desiccant formulated primarily for the dehydration of natural gas for use in Van Air Systems Pipeline Dryers when the gas temperature is below 80°F. SP is a dense hygroscopic tablet that absorbs water vapor. The surface of the desiccant tablet dissolves slowly, forming a brine solution which drops from the surface. The tablet continuously dissolves, or deliquesces, until the desiccant is fully consumed. Van Air Systems deliquescent desiccants, including SP, are non-toxic and fully water soluble. In a properly sized Pipeline Dryer, SP will establish a relative humidity of 33%, which equates to a dew point approximately 30°F lower than the temperature of the gas at the inlet of the dryer. Features and Benefits Requires no energy or fuel For operating temperatures 80°F and lower Prevents condensation Inhibits natural gas hydrate formation Can be used indoors or outdoors Prevents gas line freeze-ups Environmentally safe No BTEX emissions Available in 50lb bags and 400lb steel drums Applications Drying high pressure, low temperature sales gas Fuel gas dehydration Instrument gas dehydration Downloads Brochure
