Simplex
Simplex strainers use a single basket to capture debris in pipelines. They're simple and economical, and work well on lines that can be shut down briefly for cleaning.
Simplex Strainer Features
- Quick-opening covers – fast basket removal
- Large basket capacity – longer intervals between cleanings
- Multiple materials – cast iron, carbon steel, stainless and plastic
- Flanged and threaded connections – suit your piping
Choosing a Simplex Strainer
Size for flow and pressure drop, and choose screen perforation based on what you're protecting. If shutdown for cleaning isn't acceptable, a duplex strainer is the better choice.
Centro supplies simplex basket strainers for water, oil and process lines.
